The Controversies of Cultural Eco-Feminism

Summary/Abstract: The starting point of this work is in defining the sources of the theoretical polyphony, in which doing it is pointed at the fact that in the eco-feminist conceptual framework there is a tendency toward different interpretations of the relationship between woman and nature, from which follows a theoretical formation of two diametrically opposed positions - cultural eco-feminism, united with so-called feminist spirituality, which accentuates and celebrates the ties between woman and nature, and liberal eco-feminism, which claims that the best way to protect both women and nature is to terminate the dualism of nature/culture and to reject the essentialist concepts of spiritual links between woman and nature.
