Viewpoints of the Romanian Novel Genesis

Summary/Abstract: In this paper we discuss studies proposing theories of the Romanian novel genesis, implicitly or explicitly. Out of the existing research in our literature we have selected only those who express original and divergent viewpoints. Polyphonic nature of both literary history and theory of literature is provided by the presence of counterpoints that energize speeches, freeing them from the tyranny of immutable truths. We presented and commented contrastive theoretical researchers of Paul Cornea, Anton Cosma and Dan Mănucă.
