Summary/Abstract: Uncertainty and risk are phenomena which are connected with the functioning of every organization. They reflect the influence of various threats on its activity and possibilities of making a loss. In the contemporary world there is an increase in interest in theories of acting in the conditions of threats, indicating the ways of limiting them. The article presents risk management based on the ISO 31000 standard.
