SYNTAGM SYNONYMY WITH ACTIVE NOUNS –im WITH THE FUNCTION OF DIRECT OBJECT AND PERSONAL VERB SYNTAGM

Summary/Abstract: The article treats certain language issues during the transformation of subjective syntagms into verb syntagms. Examples of subjective syntagms with active nouns of –im in the function of direct object have been taken from artistic literature and journalism. We will stop especially in cases when instead of structures with nouns carrying the suffix –im in the function of direct object in a given subjective syntagm a verb may be used which is semantically connected to the acting noun thus changing the subjective syntagm to a verb syntagm and maintaining the informing and meaning unit. Within the sentence or clause we will see if inside a syntagm or syntax unit, apart from the transformation of direct object, changes happen or not also in other members. We will also examine when changes occur or not in the general structural schemes of sentences, when new sentences are born or not as composing parts of such structures, in various aspects of connection, when they bring or not new qualities in a morphological, syntax, semantic, stylistic, psychological, and social-linguistic aspect, the communicating interests of the parties involved in communication.
