Summary/Abstract: If one is based on Steiger’s definition conceptualizing poetry as a communion between the word meaning and their music, one could come to the conclusion that Fishta’s poetic work has already been recognized for its tonality and depth and width of thought. For Fishta’s poetic style three categories are rather important: traditionalism (expressive means of his poetry are mainly known), subjectivism (the special reflection of the richness harvested from tradition in his human and artistic individualism) and intentionality (intentionality of Fishta’s literary work). Regardless of the fact that his lyrics are deeply personal, subjective, even to the proportion of bordering with a classical romantic work, the cohesive function here is overcome by a breath generalizing them. The personalization of Fishta’s art has to do with his artistic individuality, with the unrepeated unraveling of the individual on a particular time context, while the generalization, on the other hand, is linked to its dedication and perception. This thoroughness made Fishta’s work be viewed not merely as a literary fact but rather as a national moral value, even as a national self-awareness.
