Summary/Abstract: The author answers to two critics of his book Criminal Aesthetics and, on a practical example, shows that the Serbian transitional society is in need of implementation of the Act on Lustration and Rehabilitation. The first critic is the former communist official and editor of Politika daily paper, Sava Dautović, whose texts had references to pursuit and punishment of anti-regime independent artists and intellectuals. The author is of the opinion that such an editor, who had systematically violated human rights, must be lustrated and prevented from creating cultural policy and propagating communist values from his position of editor of NIN magazine. The other critic, antipodal to the first one, is journalist Vladimir Marković, who was a victim of communist regime, and who still suffers from the consequences of pursuit he had undergone under totalitarian regime. The author thinks that such a person must be officially rehabilitated in a democratic society.
