Considerations regarding the examination of the audiovisual production contract

Summary/Abstract: The study reveals, in its introductory part, certain deficiencies of the Law no. 8/1996 on copyrights and the related rights, in the matter of the audiovisual works, such as their objectionable definition or the lack of the definition of the audiovisual production contract and exposes own opinions which may lead to the remediation of these situations. On the merits, the work describes the characteristic features of the audiovisual production contract, its separation from other types of contracts, examines the contracting parties, as well as its object and content, from the perspective of the legal regulations and of the peremptory interpretation.
