Materials of war provenance and archival legislative in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary/Abstract: Due to the shortcomings of archival legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, archival service did not respond to the most important issue of protection of archival material of war provenance. To see these tasks successfully completed, it is necessary to invest a lot of effort and work, but also regulate other important aspects that influence the dynamics of taking over archival material of war provenance as follows: - continue to monitor the situation, the degree of order in the protection of archives in archival provenance of war, to handover the same to the relevant archives, or until the archival regulations would be unenforceable - Best-war production of archives to spend synchronized throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina - initiate the appropriate level of archival service delivery obligations of legal regulation of war archives provenance, by all holders and creators, - at the level of archival service to make categorization registry download archives of war production, which is considered especially significant, for the purposes of history, culture and other scientific purposes. A particular attention paid to the archives registry who were engaged in purposeful production, radio and television stations and other relevant agencies, - plan and provide funding for additional technical and technological protection that is a hybrid archiving these current records, Protection and acquisition of archival material of war provenance by the relevant archives is a priority to ensure certain fate of the material, and the ability to use it either on the basis of realization of human and civil rights, or the scientific historical and evidential purposes. Only then will the role and mission of archives and records service, for that matter, be successful and consistently carried out in accordance with regulations, professional and moral standards.
