Summary/Abstract: Paper focuses on perception of work-family enrichment and work-family conflict by employed men and women. On the sample of 107 Slovak respondents we analysed differences in perception of positive and negative work-family spill-over between males (N=52) and females (N=55). Groups do not differ in age, in number of children at home. All respondents are full-time employed, married and live in the eastern part of Slovakia. 18 items work-family enrichment scale (Carlson et al., 2006) and 18 items wor-family conflict scale (Carlson et al., 2000) were used. Results indicate no significant differences between males and females in the level of perceived work-family and family-work enrichment and conflict. Both males and females scored higher in perception of enrichment than in perception of conflict. Further research (on larger sample) is planned to verify the outcomes and to investigate relations between work-family conflict and work-family enrichment and personality and psychological well-being.
