Summary/Abstract: Telicity - presence or absence of a goal - could be expressed at the lexical abd syntactic level. It is primarily related to verbs and verb phrases, but is also denoted by adverbial phrases and clauses. Therefore, the paper discusses the role of verb prefixes and particles as well as certain adverbial constructions indicating the presence of a goal.
