Academic enterprise as a form of cooperation between science and business. Configurational models

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present the conceptual framework to study spinoff companies based on the theory developed and approach configuration, as well as the results of the research. Theoretical configuration setting enabled the selection of the leading components of the organizational configuration of the spin-offs. The study took place in the configuration attributes using Boolean algebra − recording system, enabling the processing of algebraic logic statements. On the basis of thirteen spin-off companies there were selected configuration alternative models leading to high efficiency of the surveyed companies.
