„Rent versus House” Insurance

Summary/Abstract: Aging in Bulgaria, the disadvantages in the system of pension insurance, the security of older people with houses, but the lack of current incomes to cover their everyday expenses, are the main prerequisites for the introduction of the „Rent versus house” insurance product. The article reviews the insurance and the technical features of this specific insurance product. These features are taken into account in framing the principal conditions that must be taken into account in the general insurance conditions and in drawing up the insurance tariff shown at the end of the article.
