Social responsibility of drivers’ education centers in the light of legal norms regulating the education trade organization

Summary/Abstract: This article raises issues concerned with the social responsibility of drivers` education centers. In the literature of management and organization this kind of subject is rarely taken in the context of driving schools functioning. The author asks the following questions: “Why are the candidates for drivers` education issues marginalized? What is the logic of legislative processes in this regard? The author points out that current regulations applying to conducting drivers` education, do not make a serious barrier for a potential entrepreneur. The number of drivers` education centers has increased, but at the same time the education quality has decreased. This situation influences the road safety. The author concentrating on the new law concerning drivers, which shall take effect from the year 2012, underlines that it does not make any vital changes in organizing driving lessons.
