Summary/Abstract: The emergence and expansion of the use of the electronic means of payment,of the Internet and the computer networks in Romania, have brought many benefits and facilities offered by e-commerce, but they have facilitated, among other things, the offenders who have specialized and improved, earning them huge sums of money. Regarding these issues, we can easily deduce that Romania has implemented a modern legal framework that follows the EU directives in this regard, but with some disadvantages however. We believe that one of the most important advantages is the possibility that a legal person is criminally liable in accordance with the seriousness of the offenses that may have committed in connection with the identification of electronic payment instruments.
