Summary/Abstract: The present study is an analysis of the population of the village of Dezmir, Cluj County relying on historical demographic methods, through the analysis of local parish registers compiled between 1837-1889. We focus on population trends by examining births, marriages and deaths within the referred period, as well as comparing these local results to those from throughout Transylvania.
