Summary/Abstract: This article represents the results of comparative analysis of students' attitudes on the pedagogues' training in higher schools (University and Colleges). The research was made by SWOT method. The students of University and College developed the subjective view about their study. The research is part pedagogues' training project: Training of pedagogues in Lithuania higher schools: analyze of situation. This project was created in the Center of Childhood Studies in Klaipeda University. In university the model of pedagogical studies is oriented at process and innovations, development of learning skills. In colleges - is oriented at reproduction of knowledge, control, keeping the regulations, assimilation of pedagogical functions. Students at university see wider perspectives and are oriented on development of general competences, permanent learning. Students at colleges are oriented at obtaining special competences, education in university; are in want of wider orientation in education policy. Authors analyzed students' needs, situation and peculiarities of higher schools; suggest improving the binary model of pedagogues' training in higher schools (university and non university schools) and collaboration of training staff of both types of school.
