Why the Truth Does Not Always Come to Light

Summary/Abstract: The Retour / Return operation in Rwanda in 1995 meant to bring back the Hutu refugees to their former land, met with disaster in the conditions in which UNO did not intervene in playing down the acute crisis that hit the African country and caused the genocide that made over 800.000 victims. The author, who visited the refugee camp, presents the dramatic situation of both the refugees and of the Special Forces surrounded by Tutsi soldiers.
