Summary/Abstract: The Relationship of the Romanian Church Press with the Laical Press in Transylvania, between 1918 and 1948. From the very beginning there was a close relation in between those two categories of media, representing the church and the social life. What is remarkable in Transylvania is the fact that the church press was involved in the political life, particularity which has occurred from its role as a Romanian political instance at that point in time. Once there was a beginning and the publications were transmitting to the population, a part of the information was related to their church matters, religious issues, plenty of political, social, economical or national news. This has continued after 1st of December 1918, even though we can talk not only about a political class but Transylvania became part of the Romanian State. As a conclusion, the main characteristic of the relation in between those two areas of media (laical- and church press) is the fact that is having the same interest fields.
