Summary/Abstract: On July 6, 1999, on the wall of the Dacian fortress from Gruiu Dării, a anthropomorphic clay figurine representing a feminine character was incidentally discovered. On the round head are marked the eyes, nose and ears and on the bottom two projections suggests the feet. It is possible that this type of clay figurines have been used in rituals welcoming the spring, representing the wheat spirits sacrificed to a solar deity.
