Summary/Abstract: The conference The development of e-learning in higher education of economics is for the academic e-learning community not only a great opportunity for listening to many speeches focused on current problems concerning e-education but also a chance for meeting and a discussion. This significant meeting is organized every year in autumn by the Foundation for the Promotion and Accreditation of Economic Education in cooperation with its founding universities. Each year the role of the host is taken by one of the five public economic universities. This year's 8th Conference was held on 17th November in Cracow, at the Cracow University of Economics. The meeting has gathered more than 160 participants for whom 28 speeches had been prepared, which were later presented during simultaneous plenary sessions and seminary session.
