New archaeological finds from the Roman period at Măcin

Summary/Abstract: During the spring of 2003 at Măcin, at about 100 m from the precinct wall of Arrubium, a trash pit was discovered; several archaeological objects, dating from the mid 2nd century AD, were found there: six Pontic amphorae, an Oriental amphora, an amphora lid, an amphoroidal jug, a bowl shaped cup, three cooking pots, two bowls, a Getic jug, a bronze pin and the lid from a small cosmetics box.
