Summary/Abstract: Intergenerational Messages in the Public Space. The Example of the Cluj University After 1919. This article presents the debate between professors and students regarding the social and cultural role of the youth, which took place at the Romanian Cluj University in the first years after its opening, in 1919. Our study is based mostly on public speeches and opinions expressed by the university professors, highlighting the close link between national and intergenerational issues in the academic world of Transylvania.
