Summary/Abstract: This article presents the anthropologic and paleopathological study of a skeleton discovered in spring 2008 in an inhumation burial on Independence Street, Tulcea (Aegyssus), as a result of rescue excavations. A skeleton on extended burial on the back, oriented NW-SE was found together with two oenochoe type ceramic pots and a bronze buckle, both dated to the Roman-Byzantine period.
