Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is an assessment of the most important macroeconomic results of renewable energy development in Poland till the year 2020. These results have been estimated taking into account the influence on the level of prices, the size of external costs, the level of public support, increase of employment and budget results which are connected with it as well as the increase of revenues and fiscal effects which are obtained because of them.
