Dimitar Andreev – founder of logopedics in Bulgaria (new reading)

Summary/Abstract: The present article is an attempt to classify the historical facts, marking the emergence and the development of Dimitar Andreev’s logopedics and pedagogical heritage at the end of 19th century to the 30s of the 20th century. The author of the paper is trying to prove the leading role of Andreev as a founder of Bulgarian Logopedics. His biography is presented in details. There were analyzed different aspects of Andreev’s works on stuttering treatment.
