TRANSLATING IN HIGHSCHOOL EDUCATION AS PREPARATION FOR UNIVERSITY ADMISSION EXAMS

Summary/Abstract: The article comments on some contradictions in the requirements regarding the German language teaching at the Bulgarian High School and in the requirements of the admission tests of the Bulgarian universities. Some practical recommendations are suggested which concern the translation skills building as well as applying some strategies for a successful performance at the admission exams in German.
