Short Description
The journal “Ezikov svyat - Orbis Linguarum” (“Language World”) is a reputable academic periodical which is published by the Faculty of Philology of the South-West University “Neofit Rilski” in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. The journal was established as a medium for promoting research in the field of linguistics, literary studies, and culture studies by Bulgarian and International scholars. The journal is published three times a year and features works which cover a wide range of topics and issues related to linguistics, literary studies, cultural studies, media studies, methodology of teaching language and literature, as well as book reviews written in Slavic languages, English, French and German. The journal is available both in print and online format which makes it not only more accessible to a wider audience, but also more visible among the international academic community. All journal submissions are subject to double blind peer review by experts in the field.
The members of the Advisory Board are both Bulgarian researchers and international experts from Poland, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Australia, Albania, and the Netherlands. Every article published in "Language World" (Orbis Linguarum) after 2018 has a DOI® number. The DOI of the journal is 10.37708/ezs.swu. The journal continues to build on its academic traditions, as well as its ideal for innovation and adaptability to contemporary research trends and practices, which solidifies the journal as not only a credible source of new ideas, perspectives, and concepts; but, also as a source of inspiration for the international academic community.
