Summary/Abstract: The authoress presents plans dating from 1864 (ill. 1-6) which were discovered in the State Archives in Cracow a number of years after the publishing of her monograph titled Walery Rzewuski (1837-1885), fotograf. Studium warsztatu i twórczości, Wrocław 1981 (“Walery Rzewuski (1837-85), Photographer a study of his studio and euvre”). These plans represent copies of an architectural design carried out for the city council with the aim of attaining their official confirmation and building permission. On the basis of these materials the authoress verifies and qualifies her earlier stipulations and hypothesis concerning the location and layout of the premises in which the photographic studio was set up. In the righthand part of the main building arc situated: on the groundfloor the waiting room and hallway leading to the studio; on the subterranean level the retouching room and darkroom; on the first floor (?) the copyroom and in the cellar an enlarging room. In addition, the authoress draws attention to differences in façadal decoration between the draft design and the actual building as it was constructed (ill. 8). Digitalized and reedited material
