INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY’S AND BUSINESS PROCESS OF REENGINEERING IN ORDER TO OVERCOME CRISIS

Summary/Abstract: This paper points out the importance, part and role of information technology in reengineering business processes, in order to reduce costs, increase production and expand existing markets. As success factors of business process reengineering in particular are considered effects of information technology, simulation, modeling and decision support systems. After the introduction there is a detailed description of the reengineering, the definition of what is reengineering, reengineering problems which should to be solved, and others. Also, there are outlined the advantages in companies where reengineering is conducted, and the role of high information technology in reengineering processes. In concluding remarks are given plans to overcome the crisis.
