More problematic is drawn and the issue of diversity within the common vocation of the faithful. Blurring the theological identity of the laity and consecrated life in its cause has forgotten about the relationship of the Christian to the world as a criterion for determining the theological identity of both laity and consecrated life. “Life secular” and “religious life” is not characterized by a secular one (the laity) and non-secular nature of the latter (as religious). The distinction between them is based on a way of living and pursue their common secular or “secular dimension of the Church” Ordinary secular way of living is so common. “Secular character”, which is appropriate for the lay Christian faithful. When God is calling to the consecrated life changing experience the usual way secularism as a layman, takes you to experience it in a new and unique as a consecrated person. Secular life and the consecrated life are the dimensions of the Church's sacramental salvation.
