Summary/Abstract: The aim of the treatise is to give an account of distinct innovative trends that are demonstrated in the differentiated, regionally marked use of demonstrative pronouns in morphology and word formation. The gathered findings enabled the author formulate following conclusions: the traditional dichotomic model of differentiation of the Czech language is not fully preserved – partly it is being transformed in a trichotomic model. The reginally marked Czech type of common speech does not spread out to Moravia and Silesia.
