Summary/Abstract: The latent schema of Miss Christina is, at a psycho-archetypal reading, namely the quest of the artist, who embarked on a path toward the center that requires a descent into hell. In this exploration of inner darkness, the figures of the imaginary women who revolve around the ambivalent figure of the "angel of evil”, virgin or protective mother and femme fatale at the same time, are all projections of the repressed anima of the hero artist. The scenario of the fall of the artist, fascinated by inner depths is "masked" by a story from the imagination of romantic fantasy, multiplying representations of the fatal "Vamp", "who combines a charming appearance with utter cruelty and depravity.
