THE STATUS OF MINOR CHARACTERS IN THE PLAY INSULA (THE ISLAND) BY MIHAIL SEBASTIAN

Summary/Abstract: The secondary characters of the play "The Island" have the role of complementing the stage directions, they add to some missing asoects, highlighting certain traits or deficiencies of the main characters. Some other times they decipher the role of certain meanings, by providing additional information regarding the events involving the three main characters, Manuel, Nadia and Bob, against their own will. Linked by the force of circumstances, even if they divide by three all gaps and failures, the latter are solitary beings, each living his/her separate own drama.
