Methodological Problems and peculiarities of the Research on the Labour Force Ageing

Summary/Abstract: The problem of labour force ageing is getting more and more topical during the last two decades. Notwithstanding the researches of even separate aspects of this problem from a theoretical point of view are still too few and fragmentary. A survey review of the situation of the methodological concepts concerning labour force ageing process is made in the article. The most often used definitions of the process are presented and the discrepancies and the problems emerging at their application are considered from theoretical and practical aspects. The problems connected to the defining and studying of the factors determining the labour force ageing as well as of the consequences of this process are discussed.
