Summary/Abstract: The paper shows aspects regarding the present state of tourist services, as well as the impact of the globalization process on the future evolution of these services in Romania.Tourist services in our country have recorded a significant growth after Romania’s adhesion to the European Union, both regarding the lodging capacity and the number of Romanian and foreign tourists arrived into tourist reception units.
