As student of classical gymnasium, Mirko Košić published his first written works that attracted the attention of the public. During the WW 1,1914-1918, he was in Serbian army and studied abroad, and after WW 1 he was University professor and public figure. During the WW 2 occupation of Yugoslavia, he had worked in the National Bank of Serbia. Towards the end of war, fleeing from persecution, he became a refugee once again, and remained a refugee until the end of his life.
