Summary/Abstract: This scientific work stands on the base of Gen 6, 1–4 which is an ancient mythological-polytheistic narrative (story). The author’s intention is to make a research upon the text of Gen 6, 1–2, which informs about the multiplication of humanity and about the marriage of the sons of God and the daughters of humans. The central element of the research is the expression of „sons of God” (bene Elohim), which had different interpretations in history. The curiosity of the dissertation’s topic is that it touches a controversial biblical and religion historical question, which gave life for many theories to answer it.
