Summary/Abstract: Women-Actors of the Apostolic Mission – the Case of the 4th Gospel. One of the main characteristics of the 4th Gospel is the very important missionary role played by women, especially by two of them, namely the Samaritan woman and Mary Magdalena. For the author of this Gospel, Christ sends His disciples in mission the same way His Father has sent Him, hence the predilection of the johannine community for announcing the Good News of the Salvation. And the first steps of this preaching are confided to women. In the first case, the Samaritan woman persuades the people of her village that Jesus is really the Christ. In the second, Mary Magdalena tells the Apostles that Christ is risen from the death and that she has seen Him alive. In both cases, the power of the word of Christ meets the determination of these two witnesses, in order to make people believe.
