Summary/Abstract: In this paper the author analyzes key aspects of the idea of law as an element of Ivan Aleksandrovitch IIyin's philosophy of law. By emphasizing the uniqueness of Ilyin's approach to the problems of law, reflected in the liberalconservative synthesis of theoretical heritage of I.Kant and G.V.F. Hegel and the Russian tradition of philosophy of law, the author examines the metaphysical foundations of his ideas of law. For this purpose, by examining the unity of morality and the law valuecomplex , the author develops his position by contrasting ideas of natural and positive law in Ilyin's work. At this level of problematization, the key idea of law consciousness emerges. Analyses of content and the extent of the law consciousness concept as the key concept of Ilyin's philosophy of law conception, its place, role and function in the statelaw order, should offer theoriticalvalue context for understanding Ilyin's idea of law.
