The Practice Of Computer-assisted Language Learning

Summary/Abstract: Over the past 40 years specialists in applied linguistics have focused on computer-assisted language learning (CALL). This paper presents the variety of ways in which the computer has been applied to teaching different language skills and linguistic competence. The aim of this paper is to provide a crosssection of the options that are open to language teachers who are currently using, or planning to use technology in their language teaching.
