The economic approach of educational policies

Summary/Abstract: The paper, starting from economic and sociological concepts, makes a deeper reflexion on investment behavior, both in education and material goods. The article is trying to solve the contradiction between economic and sociological theories ant to put at work the theories of human capital in the field of education. The conclusion is that broadening the area of research with new approaches on human capital depreciation and considering education as a public good, will result a greater flexibility in using public money for education.
