On the Notion of Social Exclusion

Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to draw a more-general sociological definition of the notion of „social exclusion“ on the basis of already existing definitions and after a brief analytical review of the main ideas, conceptions and approaches, which try to clarify social exclusion. The author argues that social exclusion is a problem related mainly to the restriction and/or deprivation of the access to the existing in society material and spiritual values and resources.
