Conditions for development of trust in virtual environment

Summary/Abstract: The research suggests that trust is a key factor for enabling cooperation in virtual environment. One of the most important types of trust is swift trust without which individuals would not be able to successfully establish new relationships in virtual environment. The aim of this paper is to discuss the phenomena of swift trust and conditions for its development in order to establish organizational KM-system based on virtual communities of practice.
