Summary/Abstract: Success in the global networked economy depends on the ability to manage knowledge creation and diffusion process in virtual space. The paper presents and analyzes relationships between structure, social capital and the knowledge creation and sharing in a virtual community of practice, as well as key structural determinants of a successful VCoPs.
