Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present a new typology regarding to the Roman-Byzantine graves from Scythia. A data base with about 900 burials was built to synthesize the archaeological information. Analysing previous four typologies and adapting the Anglo-Saxon burial terminology to the local realities, a new typology was established. This contains five types of burials: 1 (with A, B, C, and D variants), 2 (with A, and B variants), 3 (with A, and B variants), 4 (with A, and B variants), and 5.
