Summary/Abstract: The intention of the essay is to present the personality of one of the greatest presenters of universal and eternal divine truths in recent times, in a world alienated from both Truth and God - Frithjof Schuon. He was born to a family of German descent. His father, Paul Schuon, a concert violinist and a professor at the Basel Conservatory, was a broadminded man with profound interest in traditional cultures and religions of the East. Through his father’s interest Frithjof Schuon learned about Bhagavad-Gita and the Qur’an at a very early age, and this influenced his life and his intellectual and spiritual development.
