Biological (functional) age of man

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the importance and the ways to determine the biological (functional) age of man. The author pauses on the reliable, informative and sufficient criteria for giving an impartial assessment of the biological age. The evaluations of the variations with the age pressing on at different levels in the organism have relation mainly to the residual labour efficiency and the longevity. Methodic-methodological instructions are given for the people selection of a fixed age and for the drawing up of the cohort, neaerest to the physiological aging. Essential categorial sides of the natural and pathological aging are added. Biological, clinical, psychological and social tests of high importance and approved in the gerontology and geriatrics are suggested for corelation with the chronological age.
