Financial and non-financial factors of family enterprise development in the Łódź region

Summary/Abstract: In the paper, it is attempted to determine which financial and non-financial factors affect positively or negatively the development of family businesses. It is possible to determine the collection of factors that cause the easier way of development of family businesses than that of the other enterprises, as well as these factors that determine their weaker position. The identification of those factors is the main issue of the research. In the paper the results of own empirical research are presented. The research was conducted in the group of 302 family enterprises operating in the Łódź region.
