Main sources of funding for production ventures energy from renewable resources in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to analyze the structure of financing of development projects in the field of the production of energy using renewable sources. The analysis included 12 entrepreneurs, who applied for financial assistance e.g grant from 2009 to 2010. The conclusions of the analysis suggest that investments in more than 64% are financed by grants, in less than 24% by equity, the rest supplementing with bank credits and loans.
