Summary/Abstract: I tried to present the analysis of some archaeological finds that I think it may be interpreted as signs of the elite from the space between the Carpathians and the Danube in 6th- 7th centuries. From the archaeological point of view is a risky endeavor to establish a hierarchy and identification of an elite, but it is necessary because we need to try to understand this part of the social life of individuals and their communities. What makes this approach more difficult is changing the elite representation as it appears in the 5th century, which can turn into a trap, because the archaeologist can be blinded by the pomp of the 5th century elite and not see elite of the subsequent centuries, which no longer raises the same degree of expressiveness.
